Mitsubishi Split System
Review
The Mitsubishi split system air conditioners have been
widely acclaimed for their advanced technology, but are they
your better choice in cooling your home or small business?
The Mitsubishi split system has two units to it, an outside
condensing unit and an indoor wall or ceiling air-handling
unit. It is the air-handling unit that disperses the cold air
throughout the room.
One of the bigger benefits to these ductless air
conditioners is how quiet they are. Unlike a window air
conditioner or other portable AC unit, these Mitsubishi system
are ultra-quiet when running.
Another nice aspect is the remote control that operates not
only the cooling temperature, but also even the air vents. You
can adjust them to point in 4 different directions.
The downside of the Mitsubishi split system is the cost of
installation. No, it’s nowhere near a duct system cost, but it
is not as simple as hanging a window unit out your bedroom
window.
Finally, I give Mitsubishi high marks for its technology.
Their unique inverter technology allows the compressor to slow
down and speed up to prevent the extreme power draw that other
units do. This makes for a more energy efficient unit and one
that is much more quiet.
You’ll find all different types of Mitsubishi split system
units. Some even include heating models with a built-in heat
pump.
You can do an online search and find each model that
Mitsubishi offers, as well as visit select dealers in the U.S.
This way you will be sure to find the unit that suite your
particular needs.
All in all we give the Mitsubishi air conditioners a
positive recommendation. They offer excellent value, quality
and technology of any systems on the market today.
